Miniature Series, 2023
PC: Kathryn Withall
I have an interest in creating work that explores our interactions as people with objects around us, specifically with the personal value placed on inherently non-valuable objects. I explore these connections by creating ornate containers and vessels for said objects.
The placing of any object into a container can change the meaning and importance of that object, especially considering extravagance of the container. It is my goal to explore this relationship, and my honor to create a container that someone might find worthy of their glorious and mundane objects.
